Currently, members come from socially responsible investment institutions, non-governmental organizations (NGO), international organizations (IO), and public and private sector organizations all involved in sustainable development activities.

The Swiss microfinance services include technical assistance services and funding targeted at the field of microfinance in emerging countries.

As of December 2007, the outstanding portfolio through subsidies, loans, guarantees, capital/private equity shares and CDO’s has grown considerably, and is valued today at approximately 1.5 billion CHF, representing one quarter of the world’s investment in microfinance.
