The Swiss Microfinance Platform (SMP) will provide a space for networking via internal and external events, in collaboration with other organizations and public relations bodies representing microfinance in Switzerland and elsewhere. It will also organize international events with national associations of MFIs. For this year the SMP has already planned to organise jointly with the World Microfinance Forum Geneva an event and an annual assembly meeting in Geneva within their biennial international symposia on October 2008.
